FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. IS THE MUNCIE FELLOWS PROGRAM THE RIGHT FIT FOR ME?

We would love to talk with you more about the Muncie Fellows Program. Please contact our staff team for more information on our website or by email at munciefellows@gmail.com

Q. WHAT IS THE COST OF THE MUNCIE FELLOWS PROGRAM?

The cost of Muncie Fellows is $6,500. This amount will be paid prior to the start of the program on an incremental basis. We encourage Fellows to seek financial support from family, friends, church community, and mentors. If, upon acceptance, you would like advice and resources on how to fundraise for your Fellows tuition, please let us know. We'd be happy to help you.

Q. WHEN ARE APPLICATIONS DUE?

We consider applications on a rolling basis. As indicated below, our goal is to notify applicants with a decision 30-45 days after applications are received.

  • Regular Admission: Applications received by December 1, 2021 will receive a decision by February 1, 2022.
  • Rolling Admission: Applications received after December 1, 2021 will be processed on a rolling basis.

If the program still has openings after June 1st, applicants will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis.

Q. HOW DOES THE JOB THING WORK?

Utilizing the network of connections within the Muncie community, the Muncie Fellows Program assists each Fellow in obtaining a part-time, paid position in their field of interest. After reviewing your application and connecting with potential employers, we do our best to arrange a position that matches your field of interest. Fellows should expect to make in the range of $6,000- $10,000 over the course of their nine-month job.

Q. WHERE WILL I LIVE?

Each Fellow will live with a family from the Muncie community who is willing to open their home to serve the program. Our families range from singles, married with young kids, teens, and empty nesters, all working to honor Christ in their home and willing to let Fellows see the beauty of this process. Many factors go into placing a Fellow with a family and ultimately we pray for the Lord’s guidance as we make these decisions.

Q. WHAT CLASSES WILL I BE TAKING?

Q. HOW DID THE FELLOWS PROGRAM GET STARTED?

The original Fellows Program was started by The Falls Church in Falls Church, Virginia, and there are now more than 24 Fellows programs hosted by churches around the country. The Fellows Initiative is the umbrella organization that brings these programs together and helps churches launch new programs. You can learn more about other programs at the Fellows Initiative website.
